The New Garage in Emure Ekiti was filled with political energy on Friday as the BAO MCA re-election campaign rally took centre stage, and among the most talked-about moments was the public stance of Engr. Bayo Ajayi.

The engineer and grassroots mobilizer offered strong commendations to Governor Biodun Oyebanji, known as BAO, for the governor’s numerous projects in Emure. At the same time, Engr. Ajayi made it unequivocally clear that he would fully abide by whatever decision the party takes concerning his personal political ambition, leaving no room for speculation or division.

Beyond his words of support for the governor and the party, Engr. Ajayi’s own track record of community service stood tall. He personally repaired a transformer for his neighbourhood, a project that earned him the cherished traditional title Imole I, with Imole meaning light. That same hands-on approach saw him renovate an office for BAO in Emure, equipping it to ensure seamless operations for the governor’s support base.

In the area of political mobilization, Engr. Ajayi has donated two branded vehicles specifically for grassroots mobilization in support of BAO. This generosity, however, stretches far beyond vehicles. Millions of naira have been disbursed to petty traders and the elderly through his efforts, aligning with BAO’s pro-people policies.

In addition, he has funded scholarships running into millions of naira, helping young students stay in school and pursue their dreams.
Most profound is the donation of one thousand copies of customized exercise books and cash to the PWDS community at the children therapy center at old Governor’s office Oke-ori-omi aligning with the Governor’s equality agada where no one is left behind.Donations of Jersey and cash to Ekiti United football team and more.
Engr.Ajayi assured the Governor of landslide victory come June 20 because his first term has proved him a worthy representative through various human- centric projects and initiatives which deserves a second and he will get it by God’s grace.
He also noted that voter education and sensitization is on-going knowing well that achieving that goal is not by words of mouth alone but through votes.
The rally, held at the New Garage in Emure Ekiti on Friday, ended with loud applause and chants celebrating both BAO and the man they now call Imole I- a clear display of grassroots leadership where personal contributions and political loyalty walked hand in hand.
