DAVEST College of Health Technology, Ekan, has officially entered a new era in its academic journey following the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding with Thomas Adewumi University, Oko.
The historic agreement, which was formally endorsed by the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar of Thomas Adewumi University alongside the Provost and Deputy Provost of DAVEST College of Health Technology, Ekan, establishes a robust academic affiliation that will open fresh doors for students seeking university degree qualifications in the health sciences.
Under the terms of the affiliation, Thomas Adewumi University has approved the delivery of two undergraduate degree programmes through DAVEST College of Health Technology, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
The approved programmes are Bachelor of Environmental Health Science and Bachelor of Community Health Science.
This development is being described as a major milestone for DAVEST College of Health Technology, as it provides an exciting and seamless opportunity for qualified candidates who desire to advance their education and earn a university degree in the health sciences.
Admission into the affiliated degree programmes is now ongoing, and the institution has called on prospective students who meet the applicable JAMB requirements and cut-off mark to take full advantage of the opportunity without delay.
In a significant boost to accessibility, candidates who initially selected another institution can now explore the change-of-institution option through JAMB where applicable, in order to pursue their desired programme at DAVEST College of Health Technology under the university affiliation.
Furthermore, candidates who already possess ND or HND qualifications may be eligible to apply through JAMB Direct Entry, subject to the applicable admission requirements.
