As the clock ticks toward Saturday’s governorship election, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Mrs. Peju Babafemi, has described the massive crowd at the final mega rally as an unmistakable and authentic expression of the people’s unwavering support for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration.

Speaking in a buoyant mood to JIROLTV, the Commissioner could not contain her excitement as she reflected on the overwhelming turnout, which she insisted was spontaneous and genuine.

“Ah! I laugh! I want to appreciate God for the life of His Excellency, Governor Biodun Oyebanji. With the mammoth crowd that we have today, it shows the overwhelming love and support of the people for his administration,” Mrs. Babafemi declared.
“This is really a clear demonstration of the love of the Ekiti people for our purpose-driven governor. We can see that this is not orchestrated. This is real. Everyone is here happy and joyful. So I’m proud to work with him, and I’m proud of the Ekiti people,” she added.
The Commissioner, who oversees women’s affairs and social development, used the platform to issue a direct charge to the electorate, urging them to translate their visible enthusiasm into votes that would secure the governor’s return to office.
“When we have a good government, all we need to do is to continue to support that government. We go to the polls and we vote for our dear governor—Oyebanji, purpose-driven, visionary, very dynamic,” she emphasized.
Mrs. Babafemi concluded with a rallying call for all Ekiti voters to come out en masse and endorse Governor Oyebanji for a second term, ensuring the continuation of his developmental agenda.
“We go all out to vote for him and to endorse him for the second term.
