As the countdown to Saturday’s governorship election enters its final hours, a prominent political figure in the state,Engr. Bayo Ajayi, has thrown his full weight behind the re-election bid of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, praising his administration’s performance and unprecedented ability to unify the state’s political landscape.

Speaking to JIROLTV at the mega rally held at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday,Engr. Ajayi described the massive turnout as expected, a direct result of what he called the governor’s “more than expectations” performance.
“BAO is a unifying factor in Ekiti as far as policies are concerned. For the first time, all the political leaders in Ekiti, past governors, past leaders, BAO brought them under the same roof and the same umbrella,” Engr. Ajayi stated. “It is because of the style of the governor. He is very loving, he is performing, very humble, very accommodating, and he carries everybody along”.
Engr. Ajayi, who is known for his practical approach and advocacy for sustainable development, emphasized that the support for Governor Oyebanji transcends partisan lines, noting that even opposition parties are aligning with the governor’s vision.
However, the engineer-turned-politician stressed that words alone would not secure victory. In a passionate charge to the electorate, Engr. Ajayi urged all eligible voters to translate their support into action at the polls.
“Number one, everybody should get their voter’s card, which I know we have already done. But you should not get your voter’s card alone and sit down in the house. Go to your polling unit and vote for Governor BAO,” he charged.
“Don’t say you’re a big man or a small man. If you really want to show your love for this man to come back, for the progress to continue, and for him to complete all the good work he has been doing, go out on Saturday, June 20th, and vote for Biodun Oyebanji,” Engr. Ajayi concluded.
