Oore of Otun Confers Prestigious Living Legend Award on Prof. Olofinbiyi Babatunde in Grand Ceremony of Honour
In a historic ceremony radiating royal splendour and communal pride, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adeayo Adekunle Adeagbo, the Oore of Otun and Paramount Ruler of Mobaland, has elevated an icon of altruism to the realm of legends.
The monarch, in a move that resonated through the ancient halls of tradition, bestowed the kingdom’s highest honour—the Living Legend Award (Grand Commander of Oloore Oduduwa)—on the renowned Professor Olofinbiyi Babatunde.

Echoing the community’s sentiment, Prince Olabode Adetoyi, former Ekiti State Commissioner for Agriculture, hailed the awardee as, “an exceptionally brilliant, humble, and selfless soul whose generosity knows no limits. He gives from a place of rare sacrifice—a true symbol of leadership that cares.
Visibly moved by the accolade, Prof. Olofinbiyi accepted the honour with deep humility, dedicating it to the people of Otun-Ekiti, his supportive peers, and the Otun Peerage Club.
