In a vibrant ceremony signaling a new chapter, the Iyaniwura Society International, a foremost non-political women’s organization, culminated the year with a grand party and the inauguration of its new executive council and Board of Trustees.

The colourful event, held on Friday in Ado-Ekiti, was graced by an array of dignitaries and members, blending celebration with strategic planning for the society’s future.
Amidst cheers, the new leadership was sworn in. The Executive Committee includes Rev. Mother Abosede Omotoye as President, Mrs. Aderonke Aduloju as Vice President, and Mrs. Oluwafunmilayo Ojo as Secretary. The newly constituted Board of Trustees features Chief Mrs. Foluso Awojolu, Chief Mrs. Grace Okunbolade, and Olori Alhaja Muyinat Ajayi.

In her inaugural address, President Rev. Mother Abosede Omotoye lauded members for their dedication and commended the founder, Chief Olufemi Aduloju—Senior Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor on Special Duties—for his visionary leadership in uniting women to champion their rights.
Outlining an ambitious agenda, President Omotoye promised robust action, including a strategic partnership with the office of the First Lady of Ekiti State, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, to organize impactful seminars for young girls. She called for unity and support to achieve the society’s core mandates.
Founder Chief Olufemi Aduloju, in his charge to the new officers, reiterated the society’s mission: to amplify the crucial role of women and advocate for their respect. “A society that values its women is poised for success, harmony, and strength,” he declared, urging every woman to be a true “Iyaniwura” (worthy mother/woman) in her home and community.

The ceremony featured a keynote address by Mrs. Folashade Akintola, who enjoined women to embrace their roles with diligence and nurture children with sound morals. The event also included special prayers for the society and the nation offered by Prophetess Yemi Ajiye, JP.
The society expressed gratitude to its Patron, Mr. Niyi Olowokere, and Matron, Olori Adejumoke Adeleye, wife of the Olubaka of Oka-Akoko Kingdom, for their significant support.
Dignitaries in attendance included Pastor Mrs. Alonge, Mr. Abiodun Ibrahim, and a representative of Prof. Funke Akintayo, Mrs. Adebayo Aderonke.
