In a remarkable display of faith, resilience, and divine purpose on Saturday in Akure,Ondo State , Pastor Olusola Babalola celebrated a triple milestone event that has left the Christian community buzzing with anticipation and inspiration.

The Triple Tide gathering marked the official launch of his groundbreaking book, THE WILL, the commissioning of Covenant Edge Global Ministry, and a heartfelt birthday thanksgiving, all wrapped into one historic celebration that drew family, friends, and ministry partners from far and wide.

In an exclusive interview with JIROLTV, Pastor Babalola opened up about the deeply personal journey that birthed the book. He revealed that losing his first wife – Late Mrs.Mary Ibukun Babalola after years of marriage sent him into a season of questioning God about the pains and struggles.

The answer came as a divine revelation when God told him that she had finished her race and what she left behind was not material possessions but the tenacity and the journey they shared together. God said that was the will she left for him, and that revelation became the cornerstone of “THE WILL”.

As he wrote the book, he realized that most Christians do not appropriate or assess all that Jesus left behind. Scripture declares that He has given us everything that pertains to life and godliness, but unfortunately many are not assessing it.
The book serves as a divine roadmap showing believers how to take hold of their inheritance, including prosperity, greatness, international favour, and the ability to live righteously. “This book, is telling us that what God and Christ have left behind is for everybody, not for a select few.”, Pastor Babalola declared.

The event also marked the official commissioning of Covenant Edge Global Ministry, a new chapter in a journey of decades in the making. Pastor Babalola explained that he has felt God’s blessing and want to impact his community on a larger scale, leading them to register Covenant Edge Global Mission because he along his family are going global with operations extending beyond Nigerian borders.
The ministry includes real estate and finance arms through Covenant Edge River Services Limited, positioning itself as a force for empowerment and reaching out to the less privileged.
Celebrating his birthday on August twenty-sixth, Pastor Babalola, now over five decades in age, raised an altar of thanksgiving to God for sparing his life. He declared that he is always pressing towards the high calling, sharing a powerful message from his mentor who said they are putting down something that will be a legacy for now and the future, and that remains the vision driving him forward.
Some of the guests at the event including the book reviewer Rev.Tunde Afe, who had known Pastor Babalola for over twenty years, described him as a jolly good fellow who loves God, loves his family, and loves to add value to others. He endorsed the book as a solid theological work and practical guide for life, noting that when one puts wisdom to their life experiences, they are able to help others navigate similar paths.
Celebrant’s Wife,Mrs. Omotayo Babalola,in an interview with JIROLTV on the red carpet expressed excitement, describing her husband as hard-working, tenacious, God-fearing, and a peaceful man who brings calm even in the midst of storms.
She specifically shared that the book is about Jesus and the will He left for humanity ,giving access to good life and divine healing. She revealed that the book tells us about our identity in Christ because many people do not know who they are and the devil tramples on them.
She recounted a painful experience when she was chased away by someone she had engaged because she did not know her identity, and declared that God is telling us that if we do not know who we are in Christ, the devil will rip us off that identity.
She urged everyone to get the book, promising that their lives will never be the same after reading it.
As the celebration concluded, one message echoed clearly that whatever you have today is not the end of your life and you can still do more.
Pastor Babalola’s story of loss, resilience, and divine purpose stands as a testament to the power of faith and a clarion call for every Christian to claim their inheritance and for Non – Christian to make up their mind to taste Christ and enjoy abundant life .
