HON. EBENEZER ADEBUSUYI SEEKS ELDERS’ BLESSINGS AHEAD OF EKAMETA CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE INAUGURATION
An All Progressives Congress APC Chairmanship aspirant for Ekameta LCDA, Hon. Ebenezer Adebusuyi (Akogun), has paid a courtesy visit to Ekameta Elders Forum to formally inform them of plans to inaugurate his campaign committee ahead of the forthcoming Local Government election.
The meeting, which was held at the residence of the Chairman of the Elders Forum, Elder Yemi Alade, was presided over by the chairman himself.
Speaking during the meeting, Hon. Ebenezer Adebusuyi said he considered it necessary to seek the prayers, blessings and support of the elders before proceeding with the inauguration of his campaign committee.
He further assured the elders of his commitment to discharging the responsibilities entrusted to him with good faith, dedication and a strong sense of responsibility. As a gesture of appreciation and respect for the elders.
In his response, Elder Yemi Alade stated that he had known Akogun Ebenezer for several decades and expressed confidence in his leadership qualities. He pledged his total support for the APC Chairmanship Candidate, while encouraging him to remain committed to the development and progress of Ekameta LCDA.
Also speaking, Barrister Busuyi Ayorinde commended Hon. Ebenezer for taking the initiative to commence his campaign activities early. He noted that an effective campaign is one of the important ingredients required for achieving success in an election and urged the team to remain strategic and united.
Hon.Adebusuyi,who is vying for the Chairmanship seat was accompanied by members of his campaign team and some councilorship aspirants, including Omojola Emmanuel G., Ward, Yemi Awoyelu, Ward 05, Olowookere Tunde, Ward 06 candidate, and Mohammed Ismaila,Ward 07.
His running mate, Mrs. Agbelusi Yemisi, was also part of the entourage.
Furthermore, Deaconess Ogunseesin advised the campaign team to work together in unity and harmony, stressing that collective effort and cooperation would be essential to achieving meaningful development in Ekameta LCDA.
Among the dignitaries and elders present at the meeting were Mr. Bayo Ajayi, Secretary of the Elders Forum; Pa Ajayi (Baba Egbe) from Erijiyan; Chief J. A. Ayorinde from Ipole-Iloro; the Ekameta Vice Chairman, Hon. Ekololu; the Secretary, Hon. Segun Olatunbosun, as well as other distinguished elders and stakeholders.
The meeting ended on a positive note, with renewed assurances of support, unity and commitment towards the forthcoming Local Government election and the overall development of Ekameta LCDA.
