As the All Progressives Congress (APC) held its grand finale mega rally on Tuesday at the Ekiti Parapo Pavilion in Ado Ekiti for the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, the State Director of Grassroots Mobilization,Aree Adebusuyi Ebenezer, has declared that the massive turnout of supporters is a clear indication that the election scheduled for Saturday, June 20, is already “a done deal.”

Speaking to JIROLTV amidst the sea of enthusiastic party faithful, Hon. Ebenezer expressed no surprise at the overwhelming show of support, which he said reflects the governor’s all-inclusive and impactful governance since assuming office.

“As you can see, people have turned out massively—a sign that the election is going to be a seamless one. The election is already a done deal for BAO. I have always said that nobody in this state can defeat BAO when it comes to an election, and you can see the signs now—the massive turnout, everywhere is jammed,” he declared.

The grassroots mobilization director revealed that the party’s target extends far beyond winning all 177 wards; they are aiming for a historic landslide.

“Our target is to have a vote that’s above 500,000 votes, and we are assuring you that people are ready. Saturday, the day of election, is going to be a day we show BAO that we appreciate his all-inclusive and impactful government since he came into office,” Hon. Ebenezer stated.

He also noted with satisfaction that opposition figures are steadily joining the “BAO train,” attributing this to the governor’s non-sentimental approach to governance.

“I am not surprised that opposition are joining the train of Governor Biodun Oyebanji because his all-inclusive government is without sentiments—ethnic, religious, or political lining. As long as you live in Ekiti and are law-abiding, BAO will not deprive you of what rightly belongs to you through worker-friendly projects, policies, and initiatives. I even expect more to come before election day, and this is further proof that BAO is the man for the seat,” he emphasized.

Aree Ebenezer dismissed any notion that the election would be won through media grandstanding, insisting that the people’s love for the governor is genuine and will translate into a historic mandate.

“This election goes beyond making statements on radio, television, or social media. The people love BAO, and BAO cares about them. They have resolved to appreciate him more with their votes come Saturday, June 20. It is going to be a jinx-breaking election whereby we will have, for the first time, a back-to-back government—BAO is breaking that jinx,” he declared.

In his final charge to the electorate, the grassroots mobilization director urged all eligible voters to collect their PVCs and come out en masse to vote.
