Engr Bayo Ajayi, the grassroots mobilizer famously known as Imole 1, has taken his battle for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s second term straight to the farms and forests of Emure Ekiti. No stone is left unturned as he leads an aggressive house-to-house, unit-to-unit,and farm-camp-to-farm-camp sensitization drive.
The targeted settlements include Anoye camp, Okeseri farm, Adeboye camp, Alapoto camp, Ose Kolade farm, Alaba marun farm, and Owode camp.
Speaking on Friday during a grueling tour through the deepest villages and voting communities in Emure, Ajayi declared that Governor Oyebanji has already proven himself a worthy candidate. He pointed to the transformation of the state through life-changing initiatives, including the massive road projects that have supercharged Emure’s economy, naming the Emure-Eporo and Ikere-Ise-Emure roads as game changers for the movement of goods and people.
For an agrarian community, Ajayi stressed that the governor’s passion for agriculture is unmatched, citing farm clusters, youth empowerment under the Bring Back Youths In Agriculture program, and the Renewed Hope Initiative, which provides hostels, high-breed seedlings, ready markets, and funding.
Renovated palaces, new culverts, opened farmsteads, upgraded health facilities, and the inclusive appointment of Emure sons and daughters into sensitive positions were also listed as undeniable dividends of democracy.
Engr.Ajayi however fired a direct warning: elections are not won by love or words alone. He charged every resident to collect their PVCs from local government and INEC offices. He then gave a blunt voting tutorial—the APC logo is the broom, positioned fourth on the ballot paper. Voters must use their index finger, press gently without smearing, fold, and drop.
It was not all talk,Engr.Ajayi also donated packs of foodstuff to residents on the spot.
His final message to Emure is laser sharp. Come June 20 election, it will be a landslide victory for the All Progressives Congress and Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji. No excuses. No retreat.
