Prominent APC stalwart and former Chairman of Ikere Local Government, Otunba Bisi Aloba, has lauded the efforts of the BAO Agenda 2026 Group following their extensive tour of Ekiti State’s 177 wards.

Hon. Aloba described the initiative as a crucial step in uniting the party and preparing it for the 2026 gubernatorial election.
Highlighting Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s (BAO) contributions, Aloba called him “a gift to the state” whose projects and people-focused initiatives solidify his prospects for a second term.

“Without a doubt, Governor Oyebanji’s second term is assured,” Aloba declared, pointing to the administration’s landmark programs, including the recent approval of a ₦70,000 minimum wage for civil servants and simultaneous payment of pensioners’ gratuities. He praised these measures as timely interventions to alleviate the economic hardships facing residents.

Aloba commended the Governor’s strides in road construction, such as the Ilawe-Ikere road project, which he said would improve mobility and reduce inter-state transport costs, ultimately lowering food prices. “This will significantly enhance the economic well-being of our communities,” he noted.
The Governor’s agricultural initiatives also earned accolades, particularly the Youth in Agriculture scheme and livestock productivity programs. Aloba highlighted the off-taker arrangements that minimize wastage, positioning Ekiti as a potential food hub.
Hon.Aloba emphasized that the BAO Agenda 2026 Group’s ward tours are pivotal for addressing grievances and strengthening party unity ahead of the polls. “This exercise fosters cohesion and ensures a resounding victory for Governor Oyebanji in 2026,” he said.
He concluded by urging the group to sustain its momentum while joining others in endorsing the Governor for a second term, citing Oyebanji’s transformative leadership and vision for the state.
