BAO Agenda 2026 Group Inaugurates State,Local Executives as Campaign Push Intensifies

...Distributes Free Fuel to Okada Riders in Ado Ekiti

The BAO Agenda 2026 group has officially inaugurated its state,local government and Local Council Development Area (LCDA) executives across Ekiti State, further cementing the push for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s second term in office.

State Coordinator Hon. Moshud Lawal, also known as Bamayi, emphasized the need for rigorous grassroots mobilization, stating that advocacy extends beyond mere words and requires tangible actions. He described Governor Oyebanji as a leader deeply rooted in the community, highlighting the significance of the inauguration as a means to build a robust and enduring structure.

Lawal urged the newly inaugurated members to see their roles as opportunities to etch their names in history and build reputations that could lead to future positions. He assured them that their selection was based on trustworthiness and effectiveness, devoid of any bias.

THE MEMBERS DURING THE INAUGURATION

Following the inauguration, members from the State,local governments and LCDAs took oaths of office and allegiance, emphasizing their commitment to supporting Governor Oyebanji’s 2026 re-election bid. Lawal also reassured them that the group is well-funded, eliminating any need for financial contributions from members.

The group’s Secretary-General, Hon. Oluwafemi Aduloju, who also serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties, urged members to engage in strategic mobilization to realize their shared goal. The Treasurer, Are Adebusuyi Ebenezer, senior special Assistant to the governor on internal relations further encouraged the members to strengthen grassroots efforts in their communities.

The group’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) and Special Assistant to the governor Media I Ms.Yewande Aribasoye in an interview maintained that the masses friendly policies and infrastructural development of the governor are visible strides that truely calls for continuity hence the urge to the members for a holistic approach to achieving the goal.

In a show of support, Hon. Isaac Fayeba, representing All Progressives Congress APC State Party Chairman Hon. Sola Elesin, lauded the group for its dedication and recognized its significant role in promoting the Governor’s infrastructural development .

He however urged the members not to allow divisive thoughts,actions or bias in the discharge of their allegiance to the call they have accepted rather through the group’s dispute resolution mechanisms maintain a rancor free movement for the actualization of the advocacy.

The program also included the unvailing of the branded caps a souvenir for the commencement of the movement by the representative of the party’s state  chairman Hon.Issac Fayeba

To further demonstrate their commitment, Hon. Moshud Lawal led a distribution of free fuel to 100 motorcycle riders in Ado Ekiti, with each receiving two liters of petrol.

This gesture aligns with Governor Oyebanji’s prosperity agenda and marks the beginning of similar initiatives across the state.
