Pa Olofinbiyi’s Legacy Lives On: Iworoko-Ekiti Hosts Landmark Free Health Mission 

In a tribute to the late Pa James Kolawole Olofinbiyi, the Unique Club of Iworoko-Ekiti and the Kolawole Olofinbiyi Memorial Foundation (KOMF) has co-host the largest free health mission ever seen in Iworoko-Ekiti.

The event drew crowds seeking medical care and showcased a significant collaborative effort to honor a beloved community figure.

The free health mission featured a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists from various institutions, such as the Ekiti State Ministry of Health and ABUAD Multisystem Hospital. Adolescent Friendly Research Initiative and Care (ADOLFRIC) managed logistics, ensuring smooth operations.

Dignitaries like Hon. Ogunsanya Lawrence Sunday, Chairman of Ifedara Local Council Development Area, and the Regent of Iworoko-Ekiti attended, praising the organizers for their commitment to community welfare.

Hon. Sunday specifically commended Elder Fapohunda James, President of the Unique Club, and Dr. Olofinbiyi Babatunde, President of KOMF, for their dedication to improving local health.

This unprecedented initiative not only celebrated Pa Olofinbiyi’s legacy but also aimed to enhance the health and well-being of the Iworoko-Ekiti community, marking a significant chapter in its history.
