
In a press release issued during the week, the Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers conveyed their heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency Mr. Biodun Oyebanji on being honored as the Governor of the Year in Community Development by the Independent Newspaper.

HRM Ọba Ayorinde Ilori-Faboro, the Olojudo of Ido-Ekiti and Chairman of the Ekiti Council of Traditional Rulers, stated that the recognition bestowed upon Mr. Oyebanji by such a distinguished media outlet resonates with the sentiments of Ekiti citizens worldwide and especially with the traditional leaders of Ekiti.

“As a Council,” the release continued, “we bear witness to the substantial strides you have made since assuming office, and we unequivocally affirm that this accolade is richly deserved.”
The release highlighted Gov. Oyebanji’s notable accomplishments in community development, particularly in the provision of electricity to rural areas that had long been deprived of such essential services. The Council also lauded his efforts in improving both rural and urban infrastructure, including the development of roads.
“We commend your inclusive approach to governance,” the statement added, “and its profound impact on the formulation and execution of government policies and projects.”
The Council encouraged Governor Oyebanji to maintain his exemplary performance and strive for greater heights. They assured him of their unwavering royal blessings and support.
