Unity Beyond Politics: Former and Current Ekiti Governors Unite for State’s Progress

In a remarkable display of unity, the former governor of Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni, joined the incumbent governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, and other executive members for a church service at the government chapel. Chief Oni, in his address, emphasized the importance of prioritizing the state’s development over political ambitions. Urging politicians to support the winner when elections conclude, he called for unity, declaring Ekiti as being in good hands under Governor Oyebanji’s leadership.

Chief Oni extended his endorsement, stating, “He is a gift to us as a people, and I believe he has a perfect posture to move us forward.

Responding to Chief Oni’s sentiments, Governor Oyebanji expressed gratitude for the former governor’s guidance and benevolence.
