Governor Oyebanji Pledged to Enhance Work Environment for Ekiti Workforce – Aduloju

In a resolute move to improve the work environment for his workforce, the senior special Assistant to the governor on special duties Hon Olufemi Aduloju has reiterated the governor Oyebanji’s unflinching dedication to the promise.

He said recognizing the importance of an unbiased and conducive system, the Governor’s dedication stems from his deep understanding of the system, having risen through its ranks.

 

During a courtesy visit to the Broadcasting Service of Ekiti State (BSES) headquarters in Ado Ekiti, on Monday , Hon. Aduloju, who fondly referred to the station as his Alma Mater, acknowledged the challenges faced, drawing from his 13-year experience working there from 2000 to 2013. He assured the management that Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration prioritizes the well-being of its employees, ensuring an enabling environment that boosts efficiency and productivity.

To affirm his commitment, the Governor approved the distribution of official vehicles to heads of local government administrations (HLAs) and education secretaries, further affirming his dedication to the welfare and environment of his workforce.

 

The recent approval for the reconnection of the broadcast station to the national grid reflects the Governor’s sincere efforts to elevate its standard and restore its lost glory.

Addressing the concerns about the station’s partial broadcast, Hon. Aduloju assured the management that Governor Oyebanji would give due approval to their requests, recognizing the station’s pivotal role as the bridge between the government and the people.

 

In response, Mr. Olu Popoola, the General Manager of the corporation, commended the Senior Special Assistant for the visit, extending appreciation to Governor Biodun Oyebanji for supporting the corporation’s rdevelopment, including the approval for its reconnection to the national grid. He appealed to the Governor to finalize the process, ensuring full broadcast resumes without delay.

 

During an on-the-spot assessment of the broadcast station, Hon. Aduloju was taken through various departments, including the administrative office, newsroom, studio, and editing suite. Mr. Popoola also disclosed the management’s efforts to prevent complete shutdown despite challenges such as obsolete production equipment, inadequate human resources, and a lack of functional vehicles.

 

Reaffirming the management and staff’s commitment, Mr. Popoola emphasized their dedication to projecting the aims and visions of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration while appealing for an urgent attention to their requests.
