Demonstrating leadership that transcends titles, Engineer Tajudeen Raheem Adigun has electrified his hometown with a double-barreled philanthropic blast, pledging a massive six-classrooms at the Isan Ekiti Polytechnic and single-handedly illuminating the kingdom with 100 solar-powered streetlights.

The transformative projects, unveiled during his installation as the Atayese of Isan Ekiti Kingdom, have set a new benchmark for community service, proving his commitment long before the ceremonial rites.
The historic installation formed the centerpiece of the community’s 33rd Isan Ekiti Unity Day, a celebration that also honored the birthday of the monarch, Oba Gabriel Ayodele Adejuwon.

The palace grounds were a vibrant tableau of tradition, filled with indigene from across the globe, traditional leaders, and top political figures, including former Governor Dr. Kayode Fayemi, who chaired the event.
In his acceptance speech, Engr. Tajudeen declared the title a “call to action,” rooted in the sacrificial legacy of his late mother. His pledge of the six-classroom to Isan Polytechnic doubles his mother’s own contribution, a move hailed as a monumental boost for education.

“This honour is a reminder of the sacrifices made by my mother and the values she instilled in us,” he stated. “I stand committed to ensuring that the Atayese title becomes a beacon of service, compassion, and responsibility.”
