Professor Soji Adejumo, the Ajiroba of Ibadan Land has emphasized the inseparable bond between culture and religion, describing them as complementary forces under the guidance of the Almighty.

Speaking on Saturday during the installation of Engr. Tajudeen Rahim Adigun as the Atayese of Isan Ekiti, Prof. Adejumo noted that whether Christian, Muslim, or traditional worshippers, all ultimately subscribe to the same divine source- God
“Religion and culture blend together because God is the provider, the benefactor. Being a traditionalist helps you appreciate your Creator even more. It makes you a complete human being,” Prof. Adejumo stated.

Turning his remarks to the celebrant, Prof. Adejumo showered praise on Engr. Tajudeen, describing him as a hardworking, spirited individual whose commitment to community development is unwavering.

“I met him years ago in London and since then I have admired his integrity, tenacity, and passion for his people. He is a gift to this community, a model for the younger generation, and someone who will make Isan Ekiti better than it is today,” he said.
The professor stressed that traditional titles such as Atayese are not mere honors but responsibilities, urging Engr. Tajudeen to continue gathering like-minded individuals to drive development for the fatherland.
