
The successful completion of the landmark Iworoko Ring Road stands as a powerful testament to the visionary leadership and unwavering commitment of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s administration.


This commendation was made by Engr. Olabode Adetunji, the Technical Advisor for Local Government Project Monitoring and Evaluation on Wednesday in Ado Ekiti, during a comprehensive review of the newly inaugurated 17.8km road project.

In a detailed technical briefing, Engr. Adetunji highlighted that the project’s transition from blueprint to reality was driven by the Governor’s exceptional political will and clear-sighted agenda for infrastructural development. “This project is a direct reflection of the Governor’s vision to connect our communities and ignite economic growth.
Speaking with jiroltv,he noted that Governor Oyebaji’s administration’s commitment to excellence and strategic execution has been the cornerstone of the eventual success.


Analysing as an Engineer that he is, the technical Advisor elaborated on the project’s transformative impact, noting that the meticulously engineered road is projected to drastically reduce travel times, alleviate chronic traffic congestion, and provide a safer, more reliable route for motorists. “We are not just laying asphalt; we are paving the way for new business opportunities and local investment. This is what purposeful governance looks like—tangible development that the people of Iworoko and surrounding communities can see, feel, and benefit from daily,” he added.
Engr. Adetunji affirmed that the Ring Road is a flagship example of the administration’s promise to deliver progressive, life-changing infrastructure across Ekiti State, marking a significant milestone in its agenda for transformative and sustainable development.
He described the Governor’s achievements as beyond boarders as he did not only concentrate on developing the capital city -Ado Ekiti, rather it spread to other communities, towns and villages more reason his popularity and acceptance is massive.
