In a bold and strategic move, Engr. Olabode Adetunji, the Technical Advisor to the Local Government Project Monitoring and Evaluation Team, has issued a strong directive to All Progressives Congress (APC) members across the state. Speaking exclusively to JIROLTV, Adetunji emphasized the urgent need for party loyalists to update their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) following the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s official release of the 2025-2026 election timetable.
Adetunji, a key figure in the state’s grassroots mobilization efforts, passionately appealed to APC supporters, stating that Governor BAO’s exemplary leadership and developmental strides make him the undeniable choice for a second term. “The time to act is now,” he declared.”INEC has given us the timeline, and we must respond with massive action. BAO has transformed our state with infrastructure, job creation, and improved welfare. To sustain this progress, we must all ensure our voter details are up to date and mobilize our communities to do the same.”
The Technical Advisor highlighted that Governor BAO’s re-election is not just a political objective but a necessity for the state’s continued growth. “This is beyond party loyalty—it’s about securing the future of our people. INEC’s announcement of the resumption of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, starting August 25, 2025, has intensified political activities nationwide. Adetunji urged APC members to take full advantage of the opportunity, stressing that a strong voter turnout for the ruling party would guarantee a seamless victory.”We must dominate the voter register. From the wards to the state level, every member must be accounted for. BAO’s second term is a mission we must all own,”he added.
The APC chieftain also reminded women, youths, and persons with disabilities (PWDs) of the party’s inclusive policies, including discounted and free nomination forms for eligible candidates.”Our party rewards loyalty and encourages participation.
