
The BAO Agenda 2026 team, led by prominent political figures, stormed Ilejemeje Local Government Area on Sunday as part of its ongoing statewide ward tour to mobilize support wfor Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s re-election bid alongside his deputy, Chief (Mrs.) Monisade Afuye.
The delegation, comprising key officials such as Hon. Moshood Lawal Bamayi(State Coordinator),Hon. Olufemi Aduloju Oja I (Secretary General), Are Ebenezer Adebusuyi (Treasurer), Hon. Bukola Jegede(Women Leader),Ms. Yewande Aribasoye (PRO Media), were joined by Hon. Pius Alaba Dada(Chairman, Ilejemeje LG), Hon. Daramola Emmanuel (BAO Coordinator),Hon. Adenike Fasuyi (Ex-officio, BAO Agenda), and Dr. Adetifa (Director of Research and Planning), among others.
The team received a rousing welcome from party faithful and community leaders.
During the tour, which covered all 10 wards in the local government, the BAO Agenda executives highlighted the benefits of Governor Oyebanji’s continuity, including:Evenr development across communities, Improved healthcare services,Expansion of farmsteads to boost socio-economic growth and Increased agricultural support for farmers.
They emphasized that the governor’s track record of transparency, accountability, and impactful projects makes him the best choice for Ekiti’s future.

Notable financial contributions were made to encourage grassroots mobilization:Hon. Olabode Folorunsho (Commissioner for Local Government) donated Fifty thousand naira (₦50,000 ) across 10 wards while Hon. Iyabo Fakunle Okiemeh (House of Assembly member) contributed Ten thousand naira (₦10,000 )per ward.Similarly.
Hon. Pius Alaba Dada (LG Chairman) gave Twenty thousand naira (₦20,000 )across all wards in addition to the usual Twenty-Five thousand naira (#25,000.00) by the group.
Residents expressed gratitude for key projects, including:Road construction linking Ido-Ipere-Iludun and the upgraded General Hospital in the community.
Ward leaders,Hon. Bamidele Thomas (Ipere Ward 10), Hon. Fatile John (Eda Oniyo Ward I), and Hon. Omoniyi Tope (Ijesa Ward 7),
reaffirmed their loyalty to Governor Oyebanji, vowing to deliver massive votes in 2026.
“We stand firmly with BAO—his achievements speak for themselves,” declared Hon. Olusola Ajayi, Iye Ward II Chairman, capturing the overwhelming support for the governor.
Spurred by the deliberate sincerity of the governor- Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji to see the community develop and the passion of the BAO Agenda 2026 Group all the local government appointees comprising councillors, supervisors, Special Assistants, Secretaries and state appointees also donated Ten thousand (#10,000) and twenty thousand naira (#20,000.00) to support their wards.
The tour also served as a grievance-resolution platform, strengthen unity within the APC ahead of the election.
With five more local governments remaining, the BAO Agenda team is confident in securing widespread backing for Governor Oyebanji’s re-election.
The tour continues next week as the team moves to another local government.
