The Chairman of Ekiti State Chapter of the Senior Staff Association of Statutory Corporations and Government-Owned Companies (SSASCGOC), Comrade Engr. Olusola Omoleye, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Chairman of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), Ekiti State Council, Comrade Sola Adigun, on his election as the National President of the Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools (ASUSS).
In a statement personally signed by
Comrade Omoleye, he described the election of Comrade Adigun as a well-deserved recognition of his exceptional leadership qualities, intellectual capacity and unwavering dedication to the welfare of members.
He remarked that Comrade Adigun’s outstanding performance in his previous roles as General Secretary of ASUSS, State Chairman of TUC and State Chairman of ASUSS clearly positioned him for this national elevation.
The Chairman also extended his warm felicitations to the entire State Administrative Council (SAC) of the TUC, Ekiti State Council and the State Executive Council of ASUSS for the honour brought to the State through Comrade Adigun’s emergence on the national appointment.
He expressed confidence that the new ASUSS National President would bring transformative ideas to the Union at the National level, just as he has done in Ekiti State.
“This is a proud moment for the labour community in Ekiti and a testament to the high calibre of leadership we continue to produce,” he concluded.
