The Adedayo Oluwasanmi Foundation has once again brought relief to vulnerable residents by distributing essential food items, furthering its mission to combat hunger and support the less privileged.

The latest outreach took place at the palace of the Olomuo of Omuo Ekiti, Oba Noha Omonigbeyin, where beneficiaries received rice, beans, semolina, garri, spaghetti, salt, and other staples. This follows similar initiatives by the foundation in Gbonyin, Emure Ekiti, and even the diaspora, reflecting Pharmacist Oluwasanmi’s unwavering commitment to societal welfare.

Oba Omonigbeyin commended Oluwasanmi for his selfless service, noting that despite not being a politician, he has consistently worked to alleviate hardship in the community. The monarch prayed for divine blessings upon him for his generosity.

Addressing the beneficiaries, Pharmacist Oluwasanmi stressed the importance of compassion, citing biblical teachings on supporting those in need.“We must always be our brothers’ keepers. This initiative is aimed at cushioning the economic hardship faced by the less privileged,”he said.

Highlighting his broader empowerment efforts, he mentioned his agricultural programs designed to engage youths through incentives and support. He also praised Governor Biodun Oyebanji for his transformative initiatives in Ekiti State, aligning his efforts with the governor’s vision.

In a significant political development, Pharmacist Adedayo Oluwasanmi officially declared his membership in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ode Ekiti. The APC Ward 2 Chairman, Mr. Oluwadare Fasanmi, welcomed him, expressing confidence that his inclusion would enhance the party’s credibility and urged members to remain dedicated to its progress.

Explaining his decision, Oluwasanmi stated that joining politics provides a broader platform to expand his philanthropic work.“For Nigeria to prosper, collective efforts are needed. Under Governor Oyebanji’s leadership, the APC has positively impacted Ekiti, and I believe aligning with the party will enable me to contribute even more,” he said.

He pledged to make Ward 2 in Ode Ekiti a model for development and thanked party leaders and youths for their warm reception. As part of his youth empowerment drive, he also distributed cash grants to young individuals in Ode, Aisegba, Ilu Omoba, and Ijan to support agricultural ventures, emphasizing that job creation is key to societal prosperity.

In a goodwill message, Ekiti State Commissioner for Infrastructure and Public Utilities, Prof. Mobolaji Aluko (represented by his assistant), applauded Oluwasanmi’s dedication to human development, affirming that his APC membership would strengthen the party.

Beneficiaries, including Taiwo Omoleye, Ogubanbi Deborah, and Mrs. Olalonpe, expressed deep gratitude for the support, offering prayers for his continued success. Young recipients like Ogunsakin Felix, Sunday Olokunlola, and Ayomide Fabarebo also praised the foundation for empowering them through agricultural funding.
