
The Adolescent Friendly Research Initiative and Care (ADOLFRIC) has lauded Professor Adesegun Fatusi as he concludes his impactful tenure as Vice Chancellor of the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, describing his leadership as “transformative and benchmark-setting.”
In a glowing tribute shared on its official platforms, ADOLFRIC—a youth-focused health research organization where Prof. Fatusi serves as a Board of Trustees member—highlighted his “relentless drive for excellence,” which propelled UNIMED’s growth in academic quality, staff welfare, and research innovation.

Under Fatusi’s stewardship, UNIMED emerged as a national model for medical education, with ADOLFRIC crediting his “strategic vision” for infrastructure development, training advancements, and global partnerships.
