APC Chairman Commends Self-Funding Efforts as Emure Ekiti Declares Unwavering Support for Governor Oyebanji’s Second Term Bid

The BAO Agenda 2026 group has been hailed as a credible and commendable political movement, celebrated for its democratic approach to mobilization and governance. The All Progressives Congress (APC) State Party Chairman, Hon. Sola Eleshin, lauded the group during the commissioning of a newly built three-room office in Emure Ekiti, which will serve as the group’s operational base as it expands across the state’s 177 wards.
Represented by the State Auditor, Hon. Kehinde Ogundare, Eleshin emphasized the APC’s full support for the group’s activities, praising its adherence to democratic principles and self-funding model. “The BAO Agenda 2026 group has demonstrated remarkable commitment to democratic values, mobilizing without coercion and achieving significant milestones through collective effort,” he stated.

The group’s achievements include the acquisition of a branded Ford Ranger pickup, donated by board member Engr. Bayo Ajayi, and the construction of a fully equipped Secretariat opposite the state party office, largely funded by another board member, Hon. Sunday Adunmo(Galaxy). These efforts, according to Eleshin, emphasize the group’s dedication to fostering development and unity within the party.

Adding to the momentum, former Emure Local Government Chairman, Hon. Famojuro, popularly known as “Ewe Nla,” publicly endorsed the BAO Agenda 2026, declaring Emure Ekiti a “no-go area” for other aspirants. Famojuro praised Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s achievements in his first two years, citing infrastructure projects, improved security, and agricultural initiatives as evidence of his commitment to Ekiti’s development. “Continuity in governance is the key to sustained progress, and Emure stands firmly behind Governor Oyebanji for a second term,” he asserted.

In an exclusive interview with JIROLTV, Engr. Bayo Ajayi, the donor of the Secretariat building and branded vehicle, explained that his contributions were a gesture of gratitude for the governor’s selfless leadership. “Governor Oyebanji has shown sincerity, fairness, and a genuine concern for the people. This is our way of supporting his vision to improve lives and ensure self-sufficiency for Ekiti residents,” Ajayi said.
Undeterred by heavy rainfall, the BAO Agenda 2026 delegation, led by State Coordinator Hon. Moshood Lawal (Bamayi), embarked on a tour of all 10 wards in Emure Ekiti. The delegation, which included key figures such as Secretary General Hon. Olufemi Aduloju Oja I, Treasurer Are Ebenezer Adebusuyi, Organizing Secretary Hon. Olorunkemi Ashalu, Women Leader Hon. Bukola Jegede, Youth Director Hon. Olajide Toyin and Public Relations Officer PRO/Media Ms.Yewande Aribasoye, emphasized the importance of continuity in governance. They highlighted ongoing projects, including road construction, land clearing for a military barracks, and cluster farming initiatives aimed at ensuring food security.
At each stop, the delegation urged ward members to remain focused on re-electing Governor Oyebanji, dismissing potential distractions. “Governor Oyebanji has proven his worth, and we must ensure his return to office to sustain the progress we’ve seen,” said Hon. Lawal.
As the BAO Agenda 2026 continues to gain momentum, the group remains steadfast in its commitment to grassroots mobilization and the welfare of Ekiti residents. With unwavering support from party leaders, local stakeholders, and the community, the movement is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the state’s political landscape ahead of the 2026 elections.
The BAO AGENDA 2026 Group’s newly commissioned Secretariat in Emure Ekiti stands as a symbol of it’s growing influence and commitment to democratic principles, as it rallies support for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s second term bid.
