
In a strategic move to strengthen grassroots support for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s second-term bid, the BAO AGENDA 2026 group has continued its extensive 177-ward tour across Ekiti State, with Ise-Orun Local Government Area being the latest stop. Led by the State Coordinator, Hon. Moshood Lawal (Bamayi), the delegation on Monday rallied residents across multiple wards, highlighting the governor’s achievements and the importance of continuity in governance.
The visit to Ise-Orun Local Government saw the delegation traversing key wards, including Ward 5 (Ogbese Ise), Ward 8 (Kajola), Ward 7, Ward 6, Ward 4, Ward 3,Ward 9,ward 10,ward 2 and Ward 1, and others. The team engaged with community leaders, stakeholders, and residents, emphasizing the transformative impact of Governor Oyebanji’s administration.
The delegation included notable figures such as the Secretary General, Hon. Olufemi Aduloju Oja I; Treasurer, Are Ebenezer Adebusuyi; Women Leader, Hon. Jegede Bukola; Welfare Officer, Princess Adegboye; Financial Secretary,Hon Asalu Olorunkemi Organizing Secretary,Hon. Genge Kolawole; and Public Relations Officer, Ms. Yewande Aribasoye. They were joined by the local government chairman, Hon. Ayodele Samson Bamikole, who expressed strong support for the governor’s re-election bid.
During the tour, the delegation showcased key projects executed under Governor Oyebanji’s leadership, including the rehabilitation of the Ise-Ikere Road, the Ogbese Dam, and the ongoing Olowe of Ise Museum project, which aims to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the community and boost tourism in the state. Other initiatives highlighted included the renovation of palaces, culverts, drainages, and town halls through the Governor’s rural community self-help projects, as well as the opening of farmsteads to support agricultural development.
Hon. Moshood Lawal, addressing crowds at various wards, stated, “Governor Oyebanji has demonstrated unparalleled commitment to the development of Ekiti State. From road construction to water supply and youth empowerment, his administration has touched every corner of our state. We must rally behind him to ensure continuity and even greater achievements in his second term.”

The delegation visited all 10 wards in Ise-Ekiti, providing a token of twenty-five thousand naira to each ward to support local administration. Residents welcomed the delegation with jubilation, expressing their unwavering support for the governor and his “Omoluabi Values,” which have fostered unity and development across the state. They praised his massive road construction projects, agricultural revolution, and inclusive policies, particularly his support for people with disabilities.
The tour continues to gain momentum, with the group set to visit more wards in the coming weeks, further solidifying its grassroots outreach and mobilisation efforts.
