The BAO AGENDA 2026 group has relaunched its spirited ward tour across Ekiti State, rallying support for the re-election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji. The tour, which began in Ilawe-Ekiti, Ekiti Southwest Local Government, on Friday, saw enthusiastic members and newly inaugurated coordinators pledging their unflinching support for the governor’s second-term bid.

The first stop was the Party Secretariat in Oke Jagun, Ilawe-Ekiti, where the group’s executives, including State Coordinator Hon. Moshood Lawal Bamayi, Secretary General Hon. Olufemi Aduloju Oja I, Treasurer Hon. Ebenezer Adebusuyi, Organizing Secretary Hon. Ashaolu Olorunkemi, Women Leader Hon. Bukola Jegede and Public Relations Officer Ms. Yewande Aribasoye, were warmly received by the local government party chairman, Hon. Olajide Felix, the group’s Local Government Coordinator, Hon. Onileowo Banke, and enthusiastic members.
The highlight of the brief meeting was the swearing-in of seven ward coordinators for the BAO AGENDA, led by State Coordinator Hon. Moshood Lawal Bamayi. The coordinators, tasked with intensifying efforts to ensure Governor Oyebanji’s victory in the 2026 elections, include Agbaje Adeoye (Ward 7), Olomolaye Sesan (Ward 3), Mrs. Owolabi Funmilola Awelewa (Ward 4), Ilesanmi Olalekan (Ward 5), Ramoni Olasunkanmi (Ward 1), and Mrs. Funmilayo Atunramu (Ward 6).
The ward tour kicked off at Ward 7 and concluded at Ward 6, with the BAO AGENDA 2026 executives taking time to impress upon members the importance of supporting the governor’s second-term bid. They emphasized the continuity mantra of the governor, describing it as a potent approach to true development and the well-being of the people of Ekiti State.
Citing projects such as the improved state Agro Allied Cargo Airport, which has commenced unscheduled flights and awaits final approval by June, the Ilawe-Erijiyan Road, Ikere-Ilawe Road, Ikere-Igbaraodo Road, and the renovation of all general hospitals in the state, the group urged ward members to intensify efforts to make the governor’s re-election a reality.
While assuring members of the group’s credibility and the governor’s endorsement, the executives charged them not to allow deceivers to sway their vow to support Governor Oyebanji.
In separate interviews with JIROLTV, members and coordinators assured the governor of 100 percent victory in their communities, noting that the governor already holds a special place in their hearts, which no amount of manipulation can shake.
As a show of support and concern, the group presented a donation of ₦25,000 to each ward visited to support their activities.
Also on the entourage was Hon. Genge Kolawole, the State Financial Secretary of BAO AGENDA, who urged residents to remain steadfast in their support.
The BAO AGENDA 2026 group’s tour is part of a broader strategy to visit all 177 wards in Ekiti State, ensuring grassroots mobilization for Governor Oyebanji’s second term. With prominent figures like Senator Yemi Adaramodu, a board member from Ekiti Southwest, backing the initiative, the group is confident of widespread acceptance and success.
As the tour continues on Monday, the enthusiasm of members and the warm reception from communities underscore the growing momentum behind the BAO AGENDA 2026 campaign. The group’s unwavering assurance and support for Governor Oyebanji reflect a shared vision for continuity and progress in Ekiti State.
