The Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Otunba Kayode Fasae, has revealed Ekiti State’s commitment to driving economic growth and creating jobs through the Labour Market Information System (LMIS) project.

Speaking at a meeting in Lagos on Thursday, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of the initiative, describing it as a game-changer for employment generation and policy-making in the state.

Otunba Fasae and his team met with representatives from Yorke Solutions to discuss the objectives and timelines for implementing the LMIS project. They also mapped out roles and responsibilities to ensure the project runs smoothly.

“This project will help us gather the right data to make informed decisions that will create jobs and support economic growth in Ekiti State,” the Commissioner said.

The LMIS project is part of the BAO administration’s agenda to promote employment and development in Ekiti. The Commissioner assured that the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment would continue to back initiatives that improve the lives of residents.

“This is a step in the right direction, and we are committed to making it a success for the benefit of our people,” he added.

The project is expected to provide vital information that will shape policies and create opportunities across various sectors in Ekiti State.
