BAO for Second Term: Engr. Bayo Ajayi Hosts Emure Ekiti Community to Rally Support for Governor Oyebanji

In a bid to drum up support for the re-election campaign of Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, Engr. Bayo Ajayi, a member of the Ekiti State Environmental Protection Agency board and a trustee of the BAO Agenda 2026 Group, organized a community get-together in Emure Ekiti.

The event, held at Femjoe African Bar, a venue owned by a staunch supporter of the governor, brought together party members, tricycle and motorcycle operators, commercial bus drivers, youths, and other residents.

The celebration featured colorful banners and fliers emblazoned with the slogan *”BAO Leekansi”* (BAO for a second term), and attendees were entertained by a local musician whose performance was dedicated to praising the governor’s leadership.

In his address, Engr. Ajayi expressed gratitude to the attendees for their unwavering support for Governor Oyebanji, urging them to remain steadfast in their commitment as the 2026 gubernatorial election approaches.

“The unity of our community is key to attracting development at the local and national levels,” he said. “Together, we can secure the progress and prosperity that Governor Oyebanji has championed through his people-focused initiatives.”

Ajayi also called on party leaders in the area to strengthen their collaboration, emphasizing the importance of unity for the community’s growth and political influence.

Recall that Engr. Ajay’s contributions to Emure Ekiti, including the empowerment of 100 aged widows and women with ₦10,000 each for their businesses, the donation of over 50 jerseys and ₦200,000 to Ekiti United Football Team, and the distribution of 1,000 customized exercise books to students of government special schools.

“These gestures reflect my dedication to Governor Oyebanji’s vision of progress for Ekiti State,” he said. Ajayi praised the governor’s achievements, such as the development of the Ekiti Agro-Allied Cargo International Airport, which recently hosted a flight test by NAMA, signifying the state’s readiness for non-scheduled flights.

Ajayi concluded by assuring Governor Oyebanji of overwhelming support from Emure Ekiti. “We are solidly behind the governor. Emure Ekiti will deliver 100 percent victory in 2026,” he declared.

With initiatives like this, Engr. Ajayi reinforces his commitment to rallying grassroots support and emphasizing unity for the governor’s re-election bid, stressing his belief in Governor Oyebanji’s leadership as a driving force for Ekiti State’s development.
