Glean Africa Extends New Year Felicitations, Announces Cohort 4 Leadership Graduation 

Glean Africa, a renowned leadership development champion, has extended warm felicitations to all its stakeholders across Africa and beyond, reiterating its commitment to raising transformational leaders across the continent.

In a statement issued by its Founder and Executive Director, Dr. Jimlas Opeyemi Ogunsakin, the organization thanked stakeholders, partners, and alumni of the organization for their support in 2024.

Dr. Ogunsakin also announced that the Cohort 4 Leadership Program graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday 18th January, 2024, marking another milestone in the NGO’s mission to nurture young leaders for Africa’s development.

“As we embrace 2025, we are filled with gratitude for the progress we made last year and are optimistic about the opportunities this year holds. The Cohort 4 graduation is an event where young Africans who have shown and demonstrated resilience, innovation, and the commitment to creating a better future will be celebrated,” Dr. Ogunsakin said.

He noted that the leadership program, which has empowered hundreds of youths across Nigeria and Africa, remains a veritable self-discovery platform for many aspiring leaders.

“Leadership is about impact, and at Glean Africa, we are committed to equipping young people with the tools they need to drive change in their communities and beyond,” he added.

The Cohort 4 graduation ceremony is expected to attract dignitaries, policymakers, and development enthusiasts from various sectors, featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions, and a showcase of innovative projects developed by the graduating participants.

Reflecting on the organization’s journey, Dr. Ogunsakin expressed gratitude to the mentors and partners who have contributed to the program’s success. He also called on stakeholders to continue supporting Glean Africa’s vision of a transformed continent driven by visionary leaders.

“What we are building is not just an organization but a movement of change-makers who are passionate about redefining Africa’s narrative. We believe that with the right support, these young leaders will go on to achieve remarkable feats,” he stated.

As the countdown to the graduation begins, Dr Ogunsakin reaffirmed Glean Africa’s dedication to bridging the leadership gap in Africa, noting that 2025 will be a year of greater impact and expanded reach.
