
The BAO Foot Soldiers Group has reaffirmed its unwavering support for the re-election bid of Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, ahead of the 2026 gubernatorial election.
The group, led by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Special Duties, Hon. Olufemi Aduloju (popularly known as Oja I), made the commitment during a gathering on Tuesday in Ado Ekiti. The event featured the distribution of bags of raw rice to group members, a gesture facilitated by the BAO Anchor Organization and the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Habibat Adubiaro, as part of seasonal outreach efforts.

The BAO Foot Soldiers lauded the leadership of the BAO Anchor Organization for its transparency, trustworthiness, and exemplary governance. Hon. Olufemi Aduloju expressed appreciation for the equitable distribution of resources, highlighting the group’s registration as “Tag 75” within the organization.
Hon. Aduloju and Hon. Sola Ajiare encouraged members to intensify mobilization efforts in their respective wards to secure Governor Oyebanji’s second term. They emphasized the need for continuity to sustain the governor’s achievements and break new ground as the first governor in the state to serve two consecutive terms.
A cross-section of beneficiaries, including Alfa Bashiru Balogun, Mrs. Bolanle Adelusi (Ward 3), Mrs. Tosin Adetiba (Ward 11), Kemi Aderogba (Ward 4), and Comr. Olowoyo Yinusa, shared their perspectives during interviews with JirolTV.
They described Governor Oyebanji as a “promise keeper” who has fulfilled most of his campaign pledges within two years.
The beneficiaries highlighted the governor’s sincerity and unifying leadership, commending his unprecedented engagement with past governors regardless of party affiliations. They attributed the state’s current peace and prosperity to his inclusive approach and called for its continuation.
