A frontline support group known as BAO Agenda 2026 has hailed the Ekiti state Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji over the payment of new minimum wage to workers in the state.
The group in a statement which was jointly signed by the State Coordinator, Hon. Moshood Lawal Bamaiyi, Mrs Yewande Aribasoye PRO and the Secretary-General, Chief Olufemi Aduloju praised Governor Oyebanji for being among the first set of governors to implement the new minimum wage as passed into law by the National Assembly, adding that the move by the Governor shows how he takes the welfare of Ekiti workers as top priority and his passionate desire for economic development.
The BAO Agenda 2025 Group further commended the state workers for standing by the Governor which has immensely contributed to the giant strides recorded in the last two years by the administration.
“Governor Biodun Oyebanji has again demonstrated the deep love he has for Ekiti civil servants with the payment of the new minimum wage. We commend the Governor for being a promise keeper and for maintaining a cordial relationship with workers in the state” the group added.
BAO Agenda 2026 group called on workers in the state not to relent in their support for the governor and his administration.
