This is to inform the general public that the information circulating regarding a ₦25,000 Christmas cash grant from the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji is false and should be disregarded.
The Governor does not engage in any form of cash grant distribution through unofficial channels or online platforms.
We urge everyone to remain vigilant and not to provide personal information to unauthorized websites or individuals who are out to defraud them.
This was made know in a press release signed by the Special Adviser Media/chief press secretary to the Ekiti State Governor,Yinka Oyebode on Thursday.
All official communication from the Ekiti State Government are disseminated through official channels and designated state officials.
