All Progressives Congress (APC) ward members in Moba Local Government Area have pledged unanimous support for the re-election of Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, in 2026. This declaration was made on Sunday during a ward tour conducted by the BAO Agenda 2026 Group, led by Hon. Moshood Lawal (Bamayi) also included the group’s secretary general Hon.Olufemi Aduloju Oja I, women leader Hon.Bukola Jegede and Ero LCDA coordinator Hon.David Aina (kenry)
The tour, which covered six wards—Otun Wards 1 to 3 and Erinmope Wards 1 and 2, Osan ward, emphasized the governor’s achievements, including his commitment to continuity in governance. The group lauded Governor Oyebanji for completing projects initiated by his predecessor while initiating new development efforts to benefit Ekiti residents.
During the tour, the delegation cited major projects as evidence of the governor’s impactful leadership, including the Ekiti State Agro-Allied Cargo International Airport, which recently received approval for non-scheduled flights, signaling potential economic growth for the state. Other milestones mentioned were the completion of secretariat buildings, timely payment of workers’ salaries, and road constructions across the state, such as the Erinmope-Irare, Ado-Ifaki, and Emure-Ise-Ikere roads.
The group emphasized that Oyebanji’s focus on continuity has prevented abandoned projects and urged ward members to stay resolute in their support, ensuring his re-election in the 2026 gubernatorial polls.

APC State Treasurer Chief Rufus Olajide Ayelomo described the governor as “a good product” whose achievements make him easy to promote among party members and the electorate.
Similarly,Ward members in Otun Ward 2 praised constituency representatives, including Hon. Niyi Olajide, State Assembly Commission member, Senator Ibrahim Olarewaju, Special Adviser to the President on Legal Matters and Hon.Ajayi Olabanji Senior Special Assistant Governors Office.Stressing that their performance further strengthened the community’s endorsement of Governor Oyebanji’s second term bid.
The tour concluded with a resounding assurance of 100% support from APC members in Moba. The BAO Agenda 2026 Group expressed confidence in Governor Oyebanji’s ability to sustain development and called on the party faithful to remain united in their commitment to his re-election.
The group in its usual manner dropped 20,000 naira at each ward visited for ward administration as their widow’s mite.
