Speaking to JIROLTV on Saturday Hon. Aloba described the approval by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) as a testament to the strength of the state’s leadership. “This approval is not just about flights; it’s about opportunity—bringing development to towns, villages, and businesses around the airport,” Aloba stated.

He emphasized how the project symbolizes the dividends of continuity in governance. “Governor Oyebanji’s determination to see this project through has brought us here today, building on Dr. Fayemi’s vision. It’s a shining example of what can be achieved when leaders work for the common good.”

Highlighting the airport’s potential, Aloba noted the ripple effect on local communities. “This project has sparked the construction of new roads, connecting remote villages to economic opportunities. It’s thrilling to see how far we’ve come,” he said, expressing optimism for the future inclusion of scheduled flights.

As Ekiti prepares for the commencement of flights, Hon. Aloba called on stakeholders to harness the economic and social benefits of the development.

This historic approval signals a brighter economic horizon for Ekiti State, as the local and national spotlight turns to the growing role of regional aviation in Nigeria’s development.
