BAO Agenda 2026 Ward Visits: A Vital Feedback Mechanism for Party Development

Moba APC Ward members turned out in large numbers to welcome the BAO Agenda 2026 group executives on Tuesday. This visit is part of the group’s tour of the 177 wards in Ekiti State, aimed at securing the re-election of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji in the coming 2026 gubernatorial election in the state.

The ward members praised the group for embarking on the visits, describing the move as a long-awaited feedback mechanism that will truly prepare the party for the upcoming election. They seized the opportunity to voice their grievances, which, if left unaddressed, could cause division within the party.

The BAO Agenda 2026 group noted the requests and grievances at each ward, assuring members that urgent action would be taken to address them without bias,since the essence of the visit is to maintain peaceful coexistence among members, which is pivotal to Governor Oyebanji’s victory in 2026.

Some of the requests included a new transformer for Igogo Ward I, which has been without power for six months, and pipe-borne water for Osun Ward I. Other requests included road renovations and government appointments.

The ward members assured the governor of their massive turnout and unflinching support on election day to ensure his re-election, so he can continue his administration’s development strides.

 

During the visits, the BAO Agenda 2026 group, led by State Coordinator Hon. Moshood Lawal Bamayi, highlighted some of Governor Oyebanji’s projects in their communities. These include the ongoing RAAMP Projects, such as the 5.1 KM Iye/Isaba/Olopomeji/Ikun Road, which will boost road infrastructure and improve livelihoods. Other projects include the renovation of palaces through community self-help projects and the opening up of farmsteads and other projects approved by the governor in order to drive home his prosperity for all agenda and create an Ekiti where no one will be left behind.

The group was taken around five wards in Moba Local Government by APC Chairman Hon. Femi Adeyeye. The wards visited were Osun Ward I, Ikun Ward I and II, and Igogo Ward I and II.

While the group’s entourage included Secretary General Hon. Olufemi Aduloju Oja I, Public Relations Officer Ms. Yewande Aribasoye, Treasurer Are Ebenezer Adebusuyi, Women Leader Hon. Bukola Jegede, North Mobilizer Hon. Ajayi Olabanji, and Ero LCDA Coordinator Hon. David Aina (Kenry).

The group also donated 20,000.00 naira each to all the wards visited as a token for the development of the wards .

The tour according to the secretary general hon olufemi Aduloju Oja I, continues on Thursday to other local government areas to promote Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s second term, ensuring that the current development spreads to the grassroots.
