The BAO Agenda 2026 group on Wednesday set agenda and reviewed modalities to actualise group’s agenda for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s re-emergence as Governorship candidate in the forthcoming 2026 Election in the state, the group held the meeting at its Situation office strategically located adjacent the All Progressives Congress (APC) office in Ajilosun, Ado Ekiti.

This move aims to intensify mobilization and coordination efforts towards the re-election of Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, ensuring the continuation of his unprecedented and truly human-oriented governance.

The event saw the attendance of 23 state Executives,38 local government and local council development areas (LCDAs), showcasing the group’s stronghold at the grassroots.

Hon. Sunday Adunmo, DG Ekiti State RAAMP and Chairman Advisory Council of the group, praised Governor Oyebanji as a resourceful, proactive, and unifying leader with a genuine passion for grassroots development. He emphasized the group’s primary aim of securing the governor’s re-election and urged members to remain steadfast in their efforts.

Hon. Moshood Lawal Bamayi, the state coordinator of the BAO Agenda 2026 Group, highlighted the group’s uniqueness and signifies the group’s readiness and dedication to the governor’s re-election bid. According to him,the first meeting is aimed to intensify mobilization strategies and address any shortcomings.

Hon. Ebenezer Fabusuyi, the group’s treasurer, affirmed the group’s preparedness for the re-election campaign. He stated that the operational office would serve as a hub for mobilization, meetings, and recreational activities, including various games, to support Governor Oyebanji’s second-term bid. Hon. Olufemi ADULOJU OJA1, the group’s secretary-general, urged members to adhere to meeting schedules and remain loyal to the group’s cause, ensuring Governor Oyebanji’s emergence as the party’s flag bearer.

The group’s public relations officer, Yewande Aribasoye, echoed the sentiment of readiness and fortification to deliver on their mandate. Dr. Clement Adefilâ Taiwo, speaking on behalf of the members, described the BAO Agenda 2026 Group as a vibrant assembly of credible, grassroots-oriented individuals capable of achieving the group’s objectives. He lauded Governor Oyebanji as a great leader with uncommon native intelligence.

The BAO Agenda 2026 Group’s new operational office, equipped with eight rooms, four bathrooms, and two kitchen, is set to play a pivotal role in the re-election campaign of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, ensuring continued progress and development for Ekiti State.
