The Rotary Club has conferred its prestigious Joint Award of Excellence in Adolescent Care and Advocacy on the Adolescent Friendly Research Initiative and Care (ADOLFRIC) and its CEO, Prof. Olofinbiyi Babatunde. The award was presented during the inauguration of the Rotary Club’s new president, Dr. Oshatimi Abayomi, who also serves as the personal physician to Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji.
This accolade honours Prof. Olofinbiyi and ADOLFRIC for their exceptional contributions to adolescent reproductive healthcare and gender advocacy, aligning with Rotary’s global mission of service to humanity. The ceremony was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaja Mrs. Adubiaro Habibat, representing the governor; Dr. Olomojobi Folakemi, Head of Service of Ekiti State; Dr. Oyebanji Filani, Commissioner for Health and Human Services; alongside other commissioners, special advisers, and lawmakers from the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
