The chairman of the Governing Council at the Federal College of Education, Kontagora, Professor Francis Adedayo Faduyile, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will secure victory in the upcoming November 28th governorship election in Ondo State.
Speaking during a live interview on “Political Hangout” on 99.1 FM, hosted by Ayoola Fatokun, Professor Faduyile attributed his optimism to the performance of Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa. He praised Ayedatiwa for continuing the developmental strides of the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu while opening new frontiers in the bitumen-rich, oil-producing state.
The APC stalwart highlighted Ayedatiwa’s achievements in water transportation, citing the construction of jetties that connect riverine communities, and in agriculture, which has benefited rural dwellers.
Reflecting on the political landscape in the southwest, Professor Faduyile called for a unified approach among governors in the region to restore the progressive governance that once set the pace for others.
As the chairman of the medical committee for the APC campaign council, he also commended President Bola Tinubu’s administration for its support to Ondo State. He urged stakeholders to rally behind Governor Ayedatiwa to sustain his achievements in key sectors of the state’s economy.
