Speaking on October 1, 2024, the President acknowledged the economic challenges Nigerians face but emphasized that reforms are showing positive results.
“Our commitment to mechanized farming is crucial for the future,” Tinubu declared, highlighting the Federal Government’s partnership with states such as Kebbi, Niger, and Jigawa and southwest Governor’s who have embraced large-scale agricultural programs.
President Tinubu revealed that a new assembly plant for 2,000 John Deere tractors would be established within six months, bringing a leap in food production and helping reduce skyrocketing food prices.
The President also underscored the government’s efforts in diversifying Nigeria’s energy portfolio. This upcoming conference is aimed at strengthening innovation and tackling challenges in education, employment, and social justice. “The youth will be at the heart of the decisions that shape their future,” he promised.
