FUTA ALUMNI CELEBRATES EKITI’S DG BUREAU OF CIVIC ORIENTATION AND CITIZENSHIP, FAMUYIWA

The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) Alumni Association, Ekiti State Branch, hosted a vibrant business meeting and mini banquet, dubbed “Conclave 3.0,” at the Conference Hall of AB Emporium Hotel,Ado Ekiti. This event, the third in its series, aimed to honor individuals who have made remarkable contributions in their respective fields.

Among the distinguished guests was Mrs. Olawumi Famuyiwa, the Director-General of the Bureau of Civic Orientation and Citizenship in Ekiti State, who was celebrated for her extensive contributions to the Alumni Association. Recognized as the “Mother of the Day,” Mrs. Famuyiwa received accolades for her exceptional dedication to humanitarian causes.

In his address, Hon. Ademola Ojo emphasized that Conclave 3.0 embodies a celebration of unity, excellence, and the enduring bonds shared by the Alumni of one of Nigeria’s premier institutions. He encouraged fellow Alumni to uphold the spirit of unity, promoting the values of excellence and growth instilled by their Alma Mater.

Prof. Adenike Oladiji, Vice- Chancellor of FUTA, also addressed the gathering, congratulating the Ekiti State branch on the successful execution of Conclave 3.0. She described the recognition as a fitting tribute to the awardees’ outstanding contributions in their careers and expressed hope for their continued success and further accolades.

The event successfully brought together alumni, dignitaries, and well-wishers, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose among graduates of FUTA.
