Trustees of BAO Agenda 2026 Gather for Inaugural Meeting,Vow Support for Oyebanji’s Second Term

.... Afuye Praises Members' Dedication, Urges Continued Efforts to Boost Re-Election Campaign

The Board of Trustees (BOT) of the BAO Agenda 2026 group held their inaugural meeting, chaired by Chief Monisade Christian Afuye, the Deputy Governor of Ekiti State. The meeting, aimed at strengthening support for Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s second-term bid, featured both physical and virtual attendance. Present at the meeting were BOT Secretary Rt. Hon. Oladapo Karounwi, Secretary to the State Government,Dr.Habibat Adubiaro, and Hon. Mrs. Tokunbo Ajila, while others, including Hon. Ibrahim Olanrewaju, Engr. Bayo Ajayi, and Ekiti State Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning Hon. Oyeniyi Adebayo, Chief Mrs Kemisola Elebute-halle joined via Zoom.

In her inaugural speech, Chief Afuye praised the members for their unwavering commitment to the re-election cause and expressed confidence that their efforts would yield positive results on election day. She called on members to remain steadfast in their oath and continue spreading rthe message of Governor Oyebanji’s achievements.

Afuye also commended the state coordinator, Hon. Moshood Lawal (Bamayi), and his team for their tireless efforts, including the erection of large billboards in strategic locations. She urged them to extend these efforts to other areas across the state.

Highlighting Governor Oyebanji’s inclusive governance and key accomplishments, such as the renovation of general hospitals, road projects, and the construction of a flyover bridge and ring roads, she emphasized that these strides call for increased mobilization to secure the governor’s second term. She encouraged members to focus on delivering the benefits of democracy to the people through employment and awareness programs.
