Gov. Oyebanji’s Commitment to Special Abilities Gets Boost as Premium Trust Bank Pledges Support

Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s dedication to improving the lives of people with special abilities in Ekiti State received a significant boost with a recent visit from the Managing Director of Premium Trust Bank,Mr. Emmanuel Emefienim, CON.

The bank’s team visited key facilities in the state that cater to the community, including the Children Therapy Center at the old Governor’s Office in Ado Ekiti, which provides speech and visual therapy for special needs students.

During the visit, Premium Trust Bank MD, Emefienem accompanied by the Special Adviser on Special Education and Social Inclusion, Hon. Adetoun Agboola, conducted a tour of the Government’s special school for physically and intellectually challenged students in Ido Ekiti.

She highlighted several areas in need of support across the special schools.

Agboola expressed gratitude to Premium Trust Bank for its interest in supporting the welfare of people with disabilities, noting that such collaboration is vital for enhancing the quality of life for these individuals in Ekiti State.

Emefienim reportedly expressed his admiration for the advancements made in the sector under Governor Oyebanji’s administration. He described the governor’s initiatives as “commendable and unprecedented,” adding that Premium Trust Bank, as an institution committed to improving the lives of people, is eager to lend its support.

Emefienim noted that the bank, which aims to be Africa’s leading financial institution delivering innovative solutions, is focused on initiatives that positively impact communities, particularly those most in need.

He however noted that haven had an on-the-site assessment tour of the government special school the bank will revert on the special needs in the school through the special adviser,Mrs.Agboola.

Governor Oyebanji has already overseen several strides in the sector, including the renovation of special schools and the introduction of inclusive education programs centers for people with disabilities. These efforts emphasizes the governor’s commitment to building an inclusive society where everyone, regardless of their abilities, can thrive.
