Ido-Ile Ward Members Back Governor Oyebanji for Second Term, Urge Action on Road Project

... As Delegation Led by SSA Internal Relations Secures Unanimous Endorsement

Ward members of Ido Ile in Ekiti West Local Government Area have unanimously endorsed Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for a second term. This endorsement was made during a visit by a delegation led by Hon. Aare Ebenezer Adebusuyi, Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Internal Relations, who represented the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Affairs, Hon. Jide Awe.

The delegation, which included Hon. Afolabi Clement, SA on Mobilization, and Hon. Benjamin, SA on Domestic Affairs, met with key party members to rally support for Governor Oyebanji’s re-election. The motion to endorse the Governor was put forward by Hon. Asubiojo Segun, SSA on Farmsteads, and seconded by Adeoye Ajayi, leading to a unanimous adoption by the ward.

A CROSS SECTION OF MEMBERS IN THE WARD

During the meeting, ward members took the opportunity to commend the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) Mr.Yinka Oyebode and the Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Hon. Jide Awe, for their unwavering support and dedication to the community’s development. Their efforts were acknowledged as pivotal in strengthening the ties between the government and the grassroots.

 

The ward members also used the occasion to call on Governor Oyebanji to fulfill his promise of reconstructing the Ido Ile-Imesi road, emphasizing the importance of the project for the area’s development. The delegation assured the community that their concerns would be conveyed to the Governor, highlighting the administration’s commitment to infrastructure improvements.
