The visit, part of their mission to lend technical expertise to the Ekiti State Tourism Development Master Plan, turned into an unforgettable experience as misty clouds enveloped the lush green hills, creating an ethereal atmosphere. “Experiencing this enchanting landscape firsthand reminds us of the immense value of eco-tourism, not just for visitors but for local communities as well,” said an awe-struck Leijzer.

During their stay, the delegation engaged with local farmers, exploring how sustainable agricultural practices could be integrated into the state’s tourism narrative. The synergy between tourism and agriculture was evident as they envisioned a future where Ekiti’s natural beauty and agricultural diversity could attract tourists from around the globe.
