CAC Sophia Ajayi Regional Choir Exalts Trinity with Uplifting Hymns in 2024 Community Singing

... As Faithful Gather in Ado Ekiti for Annual Worship Event

The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Sophia Ajayi Region came alive with the sound of sacred music on Sunday, 18th August 2024, as members gathered at the C.A.C Ogba Alafia Regional Headquarters Auditorium to glorify God in a spirit-filled Community Hymn event.

The 2024 edition, opened by Regional Superintendent Pastor S.I Jayeoba, emphasized the divine mandate to praise God. In his remarks, Pastor Jayeoba urged the congregation to prioritize gratitude in their prayers, reminding them that all living beings are called to exalt the Almighty.

The event, streamed live on the Regional Choir’s YouTube channel and other social media platforms, drew an impressive attendance. Among the participants were District Coordinating Council (DCC) Superintendents, Zonal and District leaders, Pastors, Evangelists, Elders, and various church groups including CACMA, Good Women, and the Youth. Patrons and Patronesses of the Regional Choir also graced the occasion.

Elder Olugbanga Agbeti, the Regional Choirmaster, highlighted the spiritual power of hymns, describing them as profound tools for worship and divine healing. Each hymn performed by the Glorious Regional Choir was introduced with a citation of the composer, providing insight into the inspiration behind the songs.

Mr. Segun Adebayo, PRO-1 of the Regional Choir, noted that Community Hymn Singing has become an annual tradition, with the 2024 event marking the second edition of this spiritual celebration.

Applauding the dedication of the choir, Pastor Idowu Akeredolu, Assistant Regional Choir Master (Music/Training), and Dr. Adaramoye Toyin, Regional Choir Secretary, praised the efforts that led to the success of the event. Elder L.S. Ogunsetire, Assistant Regional Choir Master (Administration), extended his gratitude to all participants for their support and expressed hope for an even more glorious gathering in 2025, should the Lord tarry.
