Coordinators of teams from the various local governments have revealed that preparation is in top gear across their areas to take part in the upcoming third edition of the Prof. Akin Oyebode Cup.
During an interaction with the leadership of the organising committee, They promised to present a disciplined team within the specified age range in addition to upholding the tenets of fair play and sportsmanship, which are essential values in any sporting competition.
Conveying the message from the sponsor on behalf of the organising committee, Pelumi Abiara was optimistic that the enthusiasm and commitment of coordinators from the local governments will surely contribute to making the Prof. Akin Oyebode Cup 2024 a memorable and successful tournament.
The administrators further showered praises on Hon. Akintunde Oyebode for awakening development of grassroots football in Ekiti with the tournament which according to them will not only showcase the abundant football talents in Ekiti but it’s an avenue to drive community engagement.
