Governor Oyebanji Launches “One Project per Community” Initiative Across State

The Ekiti State Ministry of Rural and Community Development has intensified its monitoring and evaluation efforts for the second tranche of community self-help projects, led by Commissioner Hon. Oluwafemi Abimbola Awe (FEMTEX). The team, accompanied by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary Mr. Ojo Babatope, visited four local government areas to assess project progress.

Commissioner Awe announced that Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji has approved a new phase of community projects spanning all communities in the state aimed at enhancing local development.

During the visits, Commissioner Awe praised the communities visited for responsibly using previous disbursements.

Beneficiary communities expressed gratitude for the Governor’s equitable disbursement and commitment to rural development. Commissioner Awe emphasized the initiative’s role in stimulating economic growth by opening farmsteads and ensuring balanced development across the state.

As the evaluation tour continues, stakeholders anticipate further strides towards Governor Oyebanji’s vision of revitalizing local economies and strengthening sustainable development across Ekiti State.
