BAO Agenda 2026 group Welcomes New Trustee, Empowers Women
The BAO Agenda 2026 group has officially appointed Engr. Bayo Ajayi as a member of its Board of Trustees.
In a ceremony that highlighted his commitment to community development, Ajayi sponsored an empowerment program where 110 elderly women received 5,000 naira each to support their small businesses.
This initiative aligns with Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s dedication to advancing women’s welfare, following his recent launch of a 1 billion naira loan scheme in partnership with Access Bank.
Bayo Ajayi on the board of BOT members are notable figures such as Secretary to the Government Dr. Habibat Adubiaro,
Dr. Engr. Erelu Kemi Elebute-Halley,
Mrs. Tokunbo Ajila Jakande,
and Otunba Karounwi Oladapo.
These esteemed individuals were selected from each senatorial district.
Ajayi expressed his gratitude for being entrusted with this role. He pledged to continue his support for elderly women every three months, in line with Governor Oyebanji’s initiatives.
Ajayi praised the governor as a champion of the people and commended the BAO Agenda 2026 Movement for recognizing his efforts.
Hon. Moshood Lawal (Bamayi), State Coordinator of the BAO Agenda 2026 group emphasized that Ajayi’s appointment reflects his unwavering dedication to aiding the underprivileged and his support for Governor Oyebanji’s administration. He called on Ajayi and fellow members to maintain their efforts in promoting the governor’s second term for the benefit of the state.
The event saw Emure women celebrating Governor Oyebanji and Ajayi, whose contributions have significantly impacted their lives. They voiced strong support for the governor’s re-election, acknowledging his ongoing commitment to their prosperity.
Giving the vote of thanks, the Secretary General of the group, Chief Olufemi Aduloju applauded Engr. Bayo Ajayi for accepting to be a member of BOT and for giving the BAO Agenda 2026 group team members a befitting welcome into the town.
He however charged party members to key into the BAO agenda for second term.
