Governor Biodun Oyebanji and the Honourable Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Tunji Alausa, have formalized an agreement to upgrade the State Specialist Hospital in Ikole Ekiti to a Federal Medical Centre.

The signing ceremony, held today, was a vibrant affair attended by top government officials, traditional rulers, and community leaders.

This significant upgrade marks the addition of a fourth tertiary health institution in Ekiti State. The move is expected to boost healthcare services and provide advanced medical facilities to the local population.

 

Governor Oyebanji praised the collaboration with the Federal Government, highlighting the importance of accessible, high-quality healthcare for the state’s residents.
